What are we trying to learn?
This study aims to evaluate the tear film lipid layer (outmost layer of tears) in participants with and without symptoms of dry eye. The tear lipid layer of the participants will be imaged using two different devices and compared to check the clinical suitability of the device software. The goal is to develop a cost-effective, accessible eye care diagnostic tool to measure tear lipid layer thickness for dry eye assessment.
