New contact lens study (Study ID: BASSET)

What are we trying to learn?

Despite improvements in contact lens materials, many contact lens wearers commonly report symptoms such as discomfort by the end of the day. It has been suggested that daily disposable lenses could have benefits over frequent replacement (bi-weekly or monthly) lenses.

The objective of this study is to evaluate and compare the performance of two daily disposable contact lenses in people who habitually use soft contact lenses.

Visit #3 & 4 – (normally both visits are combined) – 1-week follow-up visit (0.75 hr) and dispensing of study lenses (0.75 hr) –  (1.5 hours total)

Visit #5 – 1-week follow-up visit and study exit. – (1 hour)
